I came across a neat quote recently, by Mohammad Ali...

 

"I hated every minute of training...But I said, don't quit! Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a CHAMPION"

 

I love this quote! It serves as a great reminder to get your mind passed the "training" periods, frustrations and setbacks - and kee your eye on the prize. The life and everything you desire will be so worth all of that when you get through it!

They ARE Freaky Fast!

Jimmy Johns really IS Freaky Fast!

 

I ordered The Pepe, Thinny Chips and a Diet Coke for lunch today...it was delivered to our front desk within 5 minutes of my order confirmation email...and they are across town. I don't know how the heck they do it.

Have You Seen "The Blind Side?"

One of my all time favorite movies was on las night, 'The Blind Side' starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw, and newcomer Quinton Aaron as "Big Mike"

If you haven't seen this one yet, I highly recommend you do it soon! This is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens with the help of a caring woman and her family.

 

This amazing story is one of the best real-life portrayals of beating the odds to live a life beyond limits.

 

As a mother of three, also looking to give my kids a better life - it teaches that the core values of honesty, believing in yourself and having the support of those who love and care about you - can take you anywhere you want to go.
